The Batavia High School Student Council is sponsoring the fall homecoming. The theme this year for homecoming is “Out of this World”. he parade starts at 6:00 on October 5, 2012. The parade will be held on Main Street in Batavia. The Bulldogs will be battling Blanchester High School that evening. Kickoff begins at 7:30. The introduction of court and the crowning of King and Queen will be conducted at half time. The Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday October 6, 2012 from 7-11 p.m. and will be held at BataviaHigh School. This will be a formal dance.
All groups are welcome to participate in the parade. Any group not affiliated directly with the High School must meet at the Batavia License Bureau by 5:45. Feel free to decorate a truck and provide candy for the viewers.
Student Council also needs adults to chaperone the dance. We would appreciate anyone interested in helping. The more volunteers available will help ensure a safe and memorable dance.
