The officers have already begun planning fundraisers to pay for regional, state, and national competitions; including a Mattress Sale being held in the high school cafeteria on October 6th.  The sale will run from 10:00 am through 5:00 pm.  Matresses are name brand, have full warranties, and are priced 30%-50% below retail just for this fundraiser.

Several community service based events have also been planned.  BPA students will be raising money for Honor Flight at the October 19th home football game.  Honor Flight is a non-profit organization that helps veterans visit their memorials in Washinton D.C. that represent the sacrifices all veterans have made.   The chapter is also participating in the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics for the thrid year.  In the past two years, the Batavia BPA team has raised over $11,000.00 for Ohio’s Special Olympic athletes.
