“Hunter Meadors success in the Batavia – Great Oaks satellite business program has been inspiring to his peers, his teachers, and the community.

Hunter exhibits all of the qualities and characteristics that teachers hope to witness one day in their students.  He accepts his responsibilities as a representative of our school with maturity and presents himself in a professional manner at all times.  He has excelled academically and is at the top of his class.  Additionally, he maintains a 3.8 GPA (4.0 weighted) while completing AP level core subject courses.

As a member of Business Professionals of America (BPA), he has served as a fundraising chairman, a BPA Region 13 representative, and as our chapter President for the past two years.  Under his leadership, our chapter donated over $11,000.00 to Special Olympics and led the nation in BPA Cares Awards last year.  In 2011, Hunter placed first with his website design team and qualified for state competition.  He also serves as a student representative to our Business and Industry Advisory Council and is a BPA state officer candidate.

In addition to BPA, Hunter serves as the President of the National Honor Society and is a captain on the varsity football and baseball teams.  He also maintains an internship and a part-time job.
Hunter is an exceptional young man who exemplifies what can be accomplished when a student takes ownership of their actions and education.”
