Six members of the BMS Garden Club under the supervision of Jackie Chambers came to school on Tuesday, August 5th to put down 50 bags of mulch around our 3 big flowerbeds and small tree. It was hot, and they worked very hard. All of these students will be seventh graders this year, but want to maintain the flowerbeds until they go to the high school. The students from the work night are pictured below-(left) Safa Jeelani, Nick Murphy, Isabella Avendano, Trinity Turner, Alexis Griffin, and Zoe Young. Unfortunately, a few kids could not make it that night but are still members of the club- Dakota Esz, Manny Reyes, Parker Haynes, Emily Edwards, Malena Nassar, and Danielle Schreiner.
We want to thank all of the students for their hard work. The garden area is a wonderful way to welcome visitors to our school!
