Hello Class of 2025,

It’s hard to believe it is 2nd Semester of your senior year already!  As we move to keep you heading in the right direction, we want to make sure that you do not miss any important information that could give you some great opportunities for your future. Please review or click on each event for more details.  If Mrs. Grooms or Mrs. Poling have not met with you, please email us and we will get you scheduled.

GRADUATION: Monday May 19th at NKU

The FAFSA is available now!!!!

  • The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for students entering or attending college for the 2025-26 academic year is up and running! Any student that is thinking about attending any type of education/training after high school should complete the FAFSA - technical school, trade school, community college, public university, or private university. The FAFSA is what determines your eligibility for student loans, grants, work-study, and scholarships - thus, it is VERY important that you complete and submit it. Keep in mind, all students are at least eligible for student loans! We will continue to share information and helpful resources with you and your family as we receive it!

  • The Ohio Department of Higher Education  would like to share that the U.S. Department of Education has announced that the 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available now for all families to complete (as of November 18, 2024). This is ahead of the December 1 open date. Families who want to start filling out the FAFSA now can start the process at studentaid.gov.

  • For additional assistance with FAFSA completion, please visit itsforyou.org, and look under the “Looking for FAFSA Help?” section for more information

LINKED UP

  • Seniors, we would like for ALL of you to be connected with Linked Up Connect as soon as possible.  Please have your parents sign the Linked Up Connect permission form located in Final Forms.  As soon as we have the signature we can begin the process of giving you access to many opportunities such as experienceships, job shadowing, and potential internships and apprenticeship opportunities.  Please see Mrs. Laudenberger or Mrs. Kelley if you have any questions.

NAVIANCE

  • Access your Naviance account, which houses a variety of very important pieces of information, as well as being an essential tool to find valid and valuable career and college information.  Naviance is also how you request transcripts and recommenders for your college applications; for step by step directions to complete that process, click here.

  • College reps will be signing up to come into the building and meet with interested juniors and seniors.  If you have any questions about a certain college or are interested in possibly attending, register in Naviance to meet with the admissions representative. You will see the list of rep visit's in the What's New tab, then click on "more info" to register.  These rep visits are set up for students to get more information about colleges they may be interested in attending.  Students can sign up in Naviance, or email their counselor if they would like to attend.  College Rep Visit List
