Parochial Bus Information
ALL STUDENTS NEEDING PAROCHIAL TRANSPORTATION MUST REGISTER THROUGH FINAL FORMS.
In order to streamline emergency response and communication, we are asking all Batavia district parochial parents to add their students to Batavia's Final Forms database. Once the student has been added, we will add them to our routing program and you will be able to view route information from MyRideK12 (refer to the info on the main transportation page).

Batavia transports to and from the following parochial schools: Immaculate Heart of Mary, Miami Valley Christian Academy, St. Bernadette, St. Louis, St. Thomas More, and St. Veronica
Batavia's school building locations have changed, and as a result, parochial transportation will operate on a "hub system." All parochial students will be picked up on the HS/MS bus route (the front rows will be reserved for parochial students) that goes through your neighborhood. When the bus arrives at the Middle School, staff will guide all parochial students to dedicated buses (marked with signs for their school and always parked in the same parking space) that will take them directly to their school. In the afternoon they will be picked up from their parochial school and taken directly to the elementary, where they will be transferred to their neighborhood bus to go home with the elementary students.
Times are estimated based on anticipated riders and actual times will vary by actual riders. Some parochial buses have multiple schools on the same route, and if one of those schools is out, it will affect times.
Please remember that Ohio law requires that parents are responsible for their children until they enter the bus. Due to the large number of students that ride Batavia buses, we are unable to make bus stop changes to relieve parents of that responsibility. This means, unfortunately we cannot change bus stops simply to allow the parent to monitor the stop from inside their home.
The state sets minimum requirements for school transportation; our hope is to always to provide better and more convenient service than the state minimum. We must balance that with the need to be efficient and safe for all students, and so we appreciate and value the partnership with our parents.
