As Batavia Athletics prepares for our move to the new high school gym next school year, our boys’ basketball teams are playing their final games on Coach Hatfield Court. Please join us on February 7, 2023, as we honor the legacy of Coach Mike Hatfield at our boys’ basketball game vs. Fayetteville. The recognition ceremony will be around 7:00 p.m., after the JV game, with the Varsity tip at 7:30 p.m.
To celebrate Coach Hatfield’s impact on the young players at Batavia High School, we are inviting all of our alumni who played for Coach Hatfield to attend the game. Those alumni players who attend on Tuesday night will be honored before the Varsity Boys’ Basketball game.
Please email Athletic Director, Mark Pierson, pierson_m@bataviaschools.org, if you plan on attending the game and ceremony. For those that plan on attending, please include your graduation year with your RSVP. Former players of Coach Hatfield who RSVP by Sunday, February 5, 2023 will get in free, and their families will be admitted at half price.
