BHS March 14, 2023 Grade-Level Activities:

Grade 9:

  • Students report to school at normal time.
  • All 9th grade students will be going on a Field Trip for College Visits.

College Choices:

  • Miami University (Bus leaves at 7:45 and returns by 2:20 dismissal.)
  • Wright State University (Bus leaves at 7:45 and returns by 2:20 dismissal.)
  • Thomas More University (Bus leaves at 9:15 and returns by 2:20 dismissal)
  • Cincinnati State Technical and Community College (Bus leaves at 9:15 and returns by 2:20 dismissal)
  • Parents may “opt out” their students if they do not want them to participate. 

Grade 10:

  • Students report to school at normal time.
  • All 10th grade students will be taking a LEAP ACT Diagnostics Test in the morning.
  • Students will report to lunch upon completion of their LEAP ACT Diagnostics Test.
  • Students will remain in school all day and will be participating in activities after lunch.
  • Students will be dismissed at the normal 2:20.
  • Families of 10th grade students are invited to attend a free webinar on 3/29/23 at 7:00 p.m. to learn more about how to help your student prepare for a successful college-admittance testing experience. 

Grade 11:

  • Students report to school at normal time.
  • All 11th grade students will be taking the state-funded ACT Test in the morning.
  • Students will report to lunch upon completion of their ACT test.
  • Students will remain in school all day and will be participating in CPR/AED awareness training in the afternoon.
  • Students will be dismissed at the normal 2:20.
  • Families of 11th grade students are invited to attend a free webinar on 3/29/23 at 7:00 p.m. to learn more about how to help their student prepare for a successful college-admittance testing experience. 

Grade 12:

  • Students will report to school at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast in the cafeteria.
  • Students will check in.
  • During the morning, students will participate in CPR/AED awareness training.
  • Upon completion of the training, students will report to their chosen service-learning/volunteering location to finish their day.
  • Students will complete a documentation form and return it to a BHS staff member.
