Breakfast (all buildings): $1.50

Cafeteria Charge Policy

As a school district, we believe in the importance of students having access to nutritious meals, as learning is difficult on an empty stomach. As students will, occasionally, forget food money (or life gets busy for all of us and we forget to add money to our child(ren)'s lunch account), each building allows for student lunch charges. Charges should be the exception, not the norm, and are subject to the following conditions:

  1. All negative cafeteria balances from the 2023/2024 school year have been transferred to a non-waivable student charge obligation, and all students began the 2024/2025 school with either at $0.00 balance, or the positive balance that carried over from the end of the 2023/2024 school year.

  2. Beginning with the  2024/2025 school year, all negative cafeteria balances will be transferred to a non-waivable school fee at the end of each quarter.

  3. Negative lunch charges from the 4th quarter of the 2024/2025 school year have been transferred to a non-waivable school fee for the beginning of the 2025/2026 school year.

  4. Students who forget their breakfast/lunch money will be allowed to charge their breakfast/lunch at the regular meal price, and parents have the option to direct the cafeteria to not allow their student(s) to charge breakfast/lunch.

  5. Students with a negative cafeteria balance will not be able to purchase a la carte items, and a la carte items may not be charged.

  6. In order to participate in field trips and school dances, all current school fees, which include negative cafeteria charges, must be paid prior to participating in these activities.

  7. Free and reduced price lunch applications will be available online as well as at school for those without computer access.
