Open houses at Bulldog Place will take place on Monday, August 17th, and the first day of school is on Tuesday, August 18th.
BMS Open House Schedule (Updated):
August 17th
6th Grade is from 3:30pm to 5:30pm
7th & 8th Grade is from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Schedules will be live & available in ProgressBook on 8/17. Hard copy schedules will be available at Open House during the designated time for each grade level.

6th Grade Orientation is Friday, August 7th! No need to register, just show up at BMS at 8am if you are an enrolled 6th Grader!
What: 6th Grade Orientation
When: Friday, August 7th from 8am-11:45am
Where: Batavia Middle School
Who: ALL incoming enrolled 6th graders
Why: The purpose of this orientation is to make your transition from elementary school to middle school is a positive one. Eighth graders will be serving as leaders and mentors to you and the other sixth graders. Large and small group activities are designed to address your needs and concerns in an enjoyable manner.
6th graders WILL receive their class schedule if they attend orientation.

The 11th Annual Bulldog Blast 5k will be held on Saturday, August 15th at the Batavia Township Park. Proceeds from the 5k support the Batavia Cross Country Scholarship Fund. This is a great way to celebrate the start of the school year with your family and friends! Sign up at www.bulldogblast5k.com
Fall 2026 School Athletics:
If your child is interested in participating in a fall sport at BMS or BHS make sure you update your Final Forms ASAP to get summer communications from the athletic department and coaches. All communication about open gyms, workout sessions, try-outs, etc. will beheading to your inbox via Final Forms. Also as a reminder all students must have a Sports Physical on file to participate.
BMS Social Hour is tomorrow. Plan to bring money for the concession stand! Thanks to our PTO for sponsoring the fun event for students!
Our BMS band classes rocked the stage last night for their spring concert. It was a great night of music!
BMS PTO is hosting their last Skate Night of the year on May 11th. We hope you can join us!

The BMS PTO had our school wide fundraiser kick-off today! For more information, please ask your student to see the flyer and sample book they brought home today! We appreciate your continued support of our school.
BMS will be hosting a dine to donate event on Monday, January 19th at Texas Roadhouse. Please show the attached flyer when dining for BMS to receive 10% of your bill.
Mark your calendar for January 23rd as it is our annual BMS 7th and 8th grade Snowball Dance.
